That One Member!!!

On Thursday 12th of October after training, members were asked to come to a special presentation, on the night members from each of the winning Teams were given a memento pin to as well as the flag presentations with the photos of the team members.

But, there was one very special presentation that was made, to our own Gary “Crow” Crowley, Gary has been a stalwart of the Club for many, many years, and is known for his Bar, “Crows Bar” that he has worked behind. He supports the club and has done for all these years, watching members come and go, and change happen around him.

We wanted to present Gary with something special, not another trophy for the cabinet, or a medallion for the draw.

This was the something different we came up with; A Gary Crowley Bobblehead, and for Bobbleheads Australia, this was their first ever lawn bowl bobblehead.

It can take 4 -6 weeks for the turnaround for a bobblehead, Bobbleheads Australia were extremly helpful, and the communication with Wakem (email: wakem@aapt.net.au) was terrific, making minor changes, just to get that exact look.
